Penfolds Bin 180 Coonawarra Cabernet Shiraz 2021 is a rare and prestigious red wine with profound historical significance. It's a limited-edition commemorative wine released by Penfolds to celebrate the winery's 180th anniversary (1844-2024) and is the core focus of the Penfolds 2024 Collection. This wine is made from 100% grapes from the oldest and most exceptional vineyards in the Coonawarra region, blended with Australia's classic blend of 57% Cabernet Sauvignon and 43% Shiraz. The grapes are sourced from prestigious vineyards: the Cabernet Sauvignon is from Penfolds Block 10, and the Shiraz from Penfolds Block 5. These two top-tier plots are normally reserved for the production of the legendary Grange, Bin 707, and Bin 169 wines. In terms of aging, it is not aged in new barrels, but entirely in 100% one-year-old French oak barrels for 16 months to perfectly preserve the pure complexity of the terroir and fruit.

Color: An extremely deep, opaque, inky purple at its core.

Aroma: Intensely characteristic of the Coonawarra red earth. Initially, it displays captivating aromas of smoky meat and Middle Eastern spices, followed by rich notes of ripe berries such as blackberry, blueberry, and blackcurrant, accompanied by delicate cedar and woody accords.

Palmistry: A blend of regal grandeur and youthful vibrancy. The palate is expansive, velvety smooth, with dense tannins and bright acidity.
